Privacy policy
Twodyssey organises city quests between people who don't know each other yet. This page explains what data we process, why, and how to exercise your rights. Data we process
- Account: email address (sign-in by code, no password).
- Profile: first name, date of birth, gender, city, mode (friends or dating) and preferences, a one-line bio, and optionally Instagram and phone.
- Verification selfie: checked by a member of our team, no automated facial recognition. Shown only to your quest partners.
- Quests: sign-ups, teams, progress, photos taken to validate steps.
- Location: only requested when you validate a step. We keep the distance to the step, never your coordinates.
- "See each other again?" and reports: your answers, never shown to the other person unless both say yes; report contents.
Why
- To provide the service (contract): create your account, match you with a compatible partner, run the quests.
- Player safety (legitimate interest): profile verification, handling reports, sanctions.
- Connecting people (consent): your contacts are only shared with people who also said yes.
No ads, no data selling, no ad profiling.
Who can see it
- Your quest partners: first name, age, verified photo, bio. Contacts only on a mutual yes.
- Our providers: OVHcloud (hosting, France), Resend (sign-in emails), Apple and Google (app distribution).
How long
- Account and profile: as long as your account exists.
- Step photos: 12 months after the quest.
- Reports: 3 years.
- Sign-in codes: 10 minutes.
Your rights
You can access, correct, export or delete your data. Account deletion is available in the app (Profile, Delete my account): it erases your profile, photos and duos. For any request: contact@twodyssey.app. You can also contact the French data protection authority (CNIL, cnil.fr).
Minimum age
Twodyssey is for people aged 18 and over.
